A couple weeks ago the Literally Wizards team started a Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign. I’m DM’ing a homebrewed world I came up with, and although I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been, I did come up with a fun magical item. I got such a kick out of it that I thought I would commission some art from my buddy Cole Roberts and release it as a PDF for anyone that would like to incorporate it into their game.
Fidget’s Tri-Blade Spinner
The Tri-Blade Spinner is the horrible lovechild of a boomerang, some saw blades, and a fidget spinner. Players can throw it and hit a target 1d4 times for 1d4 slashing damage (for each hit). It has to be charged for 15 minutes, so players can’t use it too often. I gave it to my wife’s Rogue character and she got some good use out of it.
It’s really dumb. You’re welcome.
What’s the weirdest magical item you’ve come up with for a campaign? Let us know in the comments!Read More
